  United settled for a 1-1 draw at Gtech Stadium on Saturday as they saw Brentford scoring a dramatic last-gasp equaliser after Mason Mount had handed the visitors the lead in the 95th minute. After the game, the Red Devils stars were seen presenting their away kit to the travelling fans in the stands.

  According to the , this was the last time the team donned the green and white away kit this season. The gesture was a mark of gratitude towards their fans who made it to West London for an 8 PM kick-off on a Saturday night. It has to be noted that there were no trains back to Manchester at the end of the game. The idea of thanking their fans was reportedly floated by club captain Bruno Fernandes.
