ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
The Gunners will play the final game of their Women's Super League campaign on Saturday and it's already known now that it will be a chance for no fewer than three players to bid farewell to the fans, with goalkeepers Sabrina D'Angelo and Kaylan Marckese set to follow Miedema out of the club at the end of the season.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Canada international D'Angelo has battled well with Manuela Zinsberger to be first choice since arriving in north London in January 2023 but has largely sat on the bench, playing just 14 games for the Gunners. Marckese, meanwhile, joined in the summer of 2022 but struggled to really make her mark on the pitch. The American only played two games for the Gunners and spent this season on loan at Bristol City before injury cut her time there short.

DID YOU KNOW?
Arsenal will certainly be in the market for a goalkeeper this summer then, though it appears unlikely that they will bring Mary Earps to the club. The England star is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of this season and has long been linked with a switch to the Gunners, but that interest has cooled in recent months. Earps could well stay with the Red Devils after finally winning major silverware in the form of the FA Cup.

WHAT NEXT FOR ARSENAL?
It has been widely reported that head coach Jonas Eidevall has turned his attentions to Aston Villa shot-stopper Daphne van Domselaar instead to reinforce his goalkeeper department, despite the 24-year-old Netherlands international only joining the Midlands side last summer.
